Learn how to capture great travel shots and ensure the time you spend on travel shows in your own great photography. This is a popular course for those wanting to record their personal journeys and those capturing images for work and profit. Sessions cover theory, practice and review, with tips on improving exposure, composition and much more. Learn from one of Australia’s most awarded Master Photographers.

- Travel equipment and what to pack; overview of useful lenses and accessories
- Settings for your cameras to capture people, landscapes, wildlife, macro and events
- Shooting modes; auto and semi-auto
- Understanding histograms and getting the best digital files
- Powerful travel portraits; top tips, what to look for, what to avoid
- Powerful landscapes; top tips in seeing and creating images with impact
- Understanding good composition for consistently good images
- Storing images; jpegs, RAW and Tiffs
- Workflow in the field
- Introduction to enhancing images using participants' photos from the practical session
THINGS TO KNOW
Please bring your camera manuals to the course as well your camera with fully charged battery.
This course will be held at The University Club of Western Australia. Lunch will be provided and is included in the cost.
