Jeffrey Shragge

Jeffrey Shragge is a Research Associate Professor with the Centre
for Petroleum Geoscience and CO2 Sequestration in the School of
Earth and Environment at UWA. He completed his Ph.D. (Geophysics) in 2009 in exploration seismology with the Stanford Exploration Project at Stanford University and was awarded
the 2010 J. Clarence Karcher Award by the Society of Exploration
Geophysicists for excellence in early career research.
Prior to undertaking doctoral work, Jeffrey was the lead geophysicist at Hager Geoscience Inc, a geological contractor based out of Boston, USA, that focuses on geotechnical, civil engineering and environmental problems. Over the past decade Jeffrey has continued to work on near-surface problems, and has been involved in humanitarian archaeology, environment and hydrogeology geophysics projectsin Mexico, Romania, Argentina, Kenya and Thailand.
