Resume
I have worked in the resources industry, psychological private practice and, most recently, the not for profit sector, where I was employed as a Practice Consultant Educator at Ngala. This involved facilitations workshops and providing information in best practice to professionals, including Early Childhood Educators, Teachers and Child Health Nurses.
I have a keen interest and experience in writing articles for different media mediums, having led teams of multi-disciplinary professionals to develop an array of educational materials, including DVD’s. These educational tools have been focussed around early brain development and sleep in the early years. Early brain development and how this impacts on children’s behaviour and sleep is my passion. I am experienced in translating theoretical concepts into practical strategies and tips for both parents and professionals working with children.
Working with my clients, I use their experiences and wisdom, taking delight in empowering them to be flexible, collaborative and manage the challenges of the important work they do.
